Kitchen Sinks
From washing pots, pans, and dishes, to preparing veggies and washing hands, the kitchen sink has many roles. The best kitchen sinks make these tasks as efficient as possible. But how do you know which sink is best? Ask us, at Tradelink. We can guide your selection and help you to understand the best size, materials, and style of sink to suit your purpose. Kitchen Assisted Living
Bring independence to people living with disability and older people when you introduce assisted living products into the kitchen. When you choose assisted living products from the Tradelink range, you won’t need to compromise on style or quality. Our product designs are applauded as much for their accessibility as their looks.
Browse and shop the Tradelink range of kitchen assisted living products in store or online. You’ll find sinks with a long handle that put hot and cold water within everyone’s reach. Sinks with an anti-scald feature incorporated into the cartridge that assist with the prevention of burns to vulnerable users. And tap sets with easy-turn lever taps that make it easy for those with arthritis to get the water flowing.

Kitchen Tapware
While their primary role will always be to deliver water from pipes into the kitchen sink, today kitchen tapware is becoming a design feature too. Taps with a brushed gold or matte black finish make a grand impression. Sharp, clean lines bring a modern edge, and gooseneck styles keep things simple. At Tradelink, you’ll find yourself awash with choices when it comes to kitchen tapware. Our friendly team has the know-how to help you navigate all that’s on offer and make the right choice for you. Browse and shop the Tradelink range of kitchen tapware in store or online, and explore the kitchen sinks and tapware buying guide for inspiration.

Kitchen Waste Disposers
Kitchen waste disposers sit neatly under the kitchen sink and offer a quick and easy way to remove food waste from the kitchen. At the touch of a button, food is dealt with hygienically and instantly. Simply turn on the tap and the waste disposer liquifies the food waste and flushes it into the sewage system. Waste disposers cut down on odours that arise from food waste sitting in kitchen bins or wheelie bins awaiting the regular kerbside waste removal service. They also reduce the amount of waste that goes into landfill, and the amount of plastic you need to wrap that waste before disposal. At Tradelink, we stock Insinkerator waste disposers – a brand known the world over for its reliable performance and quality. Insinkerators can cope with most food types, including small bones, meat, fish, peelings, eggshells and more. Browse and shop the Tradelink range of kitchen waste disposers in store or online.

Kitchen Water Filters
Kitchen water filters filter contaminants and deliver great tasting water. They reduce the presence of impurities yet retain important minerals, can help minimise limescale build-up in your appliances, and let you enjoy richer flavours in the meals you cook. It’s true, top chefs can taste the difference filtered water makes in cooking! While the market is literally flooded with kitchen water filter options, we’ve partnered with the best manufacturers in the business to deliver a range of quality products that perform well and offer exceptional value. Browse and shop the Tradelink range of kitchen water filters in store or online, and explore the water filter buying guide for inspiration.

[accordion-item-title-1] How to renovate a kitchen?
[accordion-item-content-1]

Knowing how to renovate a kitchen isn’t something that comes naturally to everyone. But naturally, everyone wants to get their kitchen renovation right. Whether you’re a DIYer or you have put a kitchen builder in charge, understanding the ‘how’ will help you to get the result you’re dreaming of.

  • Step 1: design the space – visit showrooms like Tradelink (find a store), browse magazines and kitchen design ideas online, visit home shows and open homes, get your kitchen ideas together and then design a kitchen space that’s right for you.
  • Step 2: measure, and measure again – getting the measurements right has never been more important. With so many different elements coming together, you need to make sure they’ll fit perfectly. Measurements are particularly important to your cabinetmaker.
  • Step 3: order everything – kitchen cabinets take time to construct, kitchen appliances can have delivery lead times and so can kitchen lighting. Kitchen fixtures and kitchen fittings may not always be in stock. For these reasons, it’s important to order everything nice and early, so you’re not holding up progress once construction begins.
  • Step 4: out with the old – demolition of your old kitchen usually takes between one and three days.
  • Step 5: lay the floor – if you are replacing your kitchen floor as part of your kitchen renovation, get this work done next.
  • Step 6: in with the new – whether you’re doing the install yourself or leaving it to an expert, it begins with the kickboards and then the cabinets. The electrician and plumber need to do their work now too, as does the tiler. This stage of the install can take between two and five days.
  • Step 7: time for the benchtop – your benchtop doesn’t get measured until after your cabinets are in. Depending on the material used, you may have to wait a few days or a few weeks for it to be manufactured and installed.
  • Step 8: finishing off – with the benchtops now in place, your electrician and plumber can connect all the appliances and the tiler can complete their finishing off. After that, it’s time to get cooking!

  • Step 3: Draw a detailed plan. Use pencil and paper if you like, or if you’re using a kitchen designer, they’ll have some schmick software that will produce detailed plans.
  • Step 4: Confirm your style. With your kitchen plan sorted, next you can think about how to decorate the kitchen. Modern, traditional, rustic, minimalist, farmhouse, cottage, Hamptons – these kitchen design styles are just the beginning. Do some research to find a look you like.
